These general terms and conditions of sale govern the sale of products and services provided through this site.

1. OUR CONTRACT

The sales pages containing descriptions of products and services created by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD constitute an invitation to purchase.
If you wish to buy one or more products or services or participate in an event, you can select your choice by adding it to the shopping cart.
Once you have selected all the items you intend to purchase, you can close your cart and submit the order.
At this point, a summary page of the selected products, their price, and delivery methods (if provided) will appear; the summary page is defined as an “order.”
Your order will then be considered as your contractual purchase proposal addressed to SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD for the products (physical and/or digital), services (physical and/or digital), and tickets for participation in an event.
The contractual purchase proposal will be configured individually for each purchased product and not cumulatively for all selected products.
This means that if you give up purchasing one of the selected products, the purchase proposal formulated for the other products will be fully valid and effective.
The sales contract with SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will only be concluded when we send you a separate email summarizing your purchase proposal, which will also contain:

The right of withdrawal from these “General Terms and Conditions of Sale” is safeguarded and effective.
The exercise of the right of withdrawal will be extensively governed in the subsequent articles.
As a buyer, if you request the issuance of an invoice, you agree to receive it in electronic format.
As a buyer, if you do not request the issuance of an invoice, you will receive a purchase receipt via email.


TRAINING EVENTS, ONLINE COURSES, WORKSHOPS, AND SEMINARS

SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD reserves the right to change the dates and locations of meetings with at least 7 days’ notice. Any changes will be promptly communicated on the website and via email. In case of date change, those who have registered will have the choice to cancel or confirm participation. In case of cancellation, the entire fee will be refunded. The contract is non-transferable to third parties.
Absence or withdrawal from events does not provide for any type of refund or relief. The right of withdrawal can be exercised as specified in the “general conditions” if the customer is not satisfied or if expectations have not been met. The customer/person who has registered agrees to be solely responsible for any effects resulting from listening to the educational content and/or applying the techniques presented. The training events exist solely for educational purposes and personal improvement. The use of the techniques explained in the training programs depends on the individual, and therefore SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD cannot be held responsible for the results. The customer/person who registers agrees to be fully aware and responsible for the decisions made by applying the techniques explained in the products promoted here or on the pages referred to for further insights and will not have any right to request any compensation for damages or anything else from the author(s) of the training content or the company that owns them and/or any of its shareholders, directors, employees, affiliates, or the person who owns the domain name. If the participant is under 19 or 18 years old, they can use SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD only with the authorization of a parent or guardian.


3. Specific General Conditions

Training Events, Workshops, and Seminars

For registration for events, workshops, and seminars, you will need to authorize the use of your image for normal work activities.


Online Courses

SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD assumes no responsibility for errors, interruptions, defects, lack of lines, or any other reason attributable to the user’s diligence.


Subscription Products

If you purchase access to our subscription products, you will be able to:


  • Watch the content on the platform from multiple devices but not simultaneously;


  • Watch the content on the platform for a maximum of 8 hours per day.


Accessing the platform with multiple devices connected simultaneously will result in account blocking.
Watching the content on the platform for a period longer than 8 hours per day will result in a preventive block on the account.
After 24 hours have passed since the application of the block on the account, you can try to request the removal of the block by sending an email to the following address: info@theselfawarenessinstitute.com
Subsequently, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will evaluate the behavior of the account owner to verify if the content is consumed in good faith and, based on the outcome of the verification, will decide whether to maintain or remove the block.


4. YOUR ACCOUNT

If you use the services of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD, you are required to keep your account and password confidential and control access to your computer and devices, and you agree to be held responsible for all activities that occur with your account and password within the limits permitted by applicable law. If you purchase a ticket for participation in a physical event organized by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD:


  • You authorize SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD to use your image reproduced in photos or videos taken during the event for commercial purposes;


  • You declare that the recordings made during the event (audio, video, and images) depicting you will be the exclusive property of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD; the latter may use the recordings made during the event (audio, video, and images) to create physical or digital products (such as DVDs or video courses) and to exploit the related commercial rights of marketing and resale;


  • You waive the commercial rights arising from the recordings made during the event (audio, video, images, content, words, or speeches) depicting you, with the consequence that you cannot request financial compensation for the exploitation of the commercial rights of the recordings made during the event (audio, video, images, content, words, or speeches);


  • You authorize SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD to make technical modifications (such as video editing and photo retouching) or modifications to your image reproduced in photos and videos;


  • You make yourself available to sign any other documents/releases necessary for entry into the logo;


  • You authorize the use of the payment method you indicate for the payment of the amount indicated as the price for the purchase of the product or participation in the selected event in the manner indicated on the site itself.


    • The Participant declares to be aware:
    That they have joined the national event organized by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD and Dario Vignali at the indicated location;
    That the duration of the event will be indicated on the site and will focus on the system of strategies and processes that the organizers use to launch their online businesses;
    That this method has also worked for their clients and partners in very different industries;
    That several successful digital entrepreneurs will be brought to the event to describe the practical and tangible application of the method on their businesses;

    The Participant declares and guarantees: a) To be a consumer and/or user as provided for in art. 3 of the Consumer Code; b) To be of legal age; c) That the data provided, including in the attached participation form, is correct and truthful.
    If a motivated impediment to participation in one or more days of the Event occurs, the Participant may not be replaced by third parties or request refunds of any kind for the already paid registration fee unless otherwise indicated on the event’s website.
    By filling out the appropriate space on the site, you authorize SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD to use your credit card or another card issued in replacement and to charge your current account in favor of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD the total amount indicated as the cost. The procedure is carried out through a secure connection directly linked to the Bank holding and managing the “online” payment service, which SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD cannot access.
    In the case of installment payment, you agree to pay the amount indicated as the price with recurring payments for the amounts indicated at the time of purchase until the total purchase price is reached, which will be charged using the same payment method indicated at the time of purchase. In the event of customer default in paying the purchase price, you will be required to return what was purchased, with the already paid installments remaining in favor of the Seller as compensation.

    RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, EXCEPTIONS, AND RETURN POLICIES

    If you purchase a physical product, you have the right to withdraw from the order without providing any reason within 14 days from the day you received the ordered product or from the conclusion of the contract.
    To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is necessary that the communication is sent before the 14-day period expires and that the product is returned to SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD.
    If you purchase a digital product (video course, audio course, ebook, etc.), you have the right to withdraw from the order without providing any reason within 30 days from the day you received the ordered product or from the conclusion of the contract, except for subscription products such as PERFORMANCE SCHOOL or SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD PRO, which do not provide for refunds.
    To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is necessary that the communication is sent before the 30-day period expires; subsequently, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will disable the account and access passwords to the product.

    RETURN CONDITIONS

    If the products you ordered are not to your liking, you can return them for free within 14 days from the date shown on the receipt and get a refund for your order.Products must be returned in the same condition they were delivered, not damaged, and therefore resellable. Returned products must not have been used or damaged. We recommend carefully trying the received products. Returns that do not meet the above requirements may not be accepted and refunded at the discretion of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD.We do not make product exchanges, but you can return your order, request a refund, and place a new order. Your original order will be refunded as soon as the product is received, and you can place another order immediately or at any time you wish.Shipping costs are non-refundable.Customers returning a product from a country outside the European Union are responsible for all import taxes, customs duties, and local taxes necessary to return the goods.Please ensure that you take care of these amounts in advance; SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will not accept returns accompanied by unpaid customs or import taxes.


    HOW TO MAKE A RETURN

    If the purchased product does not suit you or you have changed your mind about the purchase, you can request a return within 14 days from the date shown on the receipt.
    The shipping costs for making the return are:
    • At the customer’s expense in case of a change of mind;
    • At our expense in case of damaged/non-compliant product as described on the sales page.
    To make a return, follow these steps:
    • Send us an email at info@theselfawarenessinstitute.com  indicating the order number, the reason for the return request, and attaching photos of the product. The latter must be in optimal conditions for the return request to be approved (it must not have been used, damaged, or altered compared to how it was received);
    • We will agree on a day and address for collection;
    • We will indicate the courier who will collect the package and provide you with an identification code for the collection;
    • You will NOT need to attach any label outside the package, and you will not have to fill out any form: the courier will have already received instructions from our warehouse, and it will be sufficient to return the product inside its packaging.
    Once the product returns to the warehouse and we have verified its condition, we will proceed with the refund of the product, deducting from the amount the shipping costs at the customer’s expense (in case of a change of mind).


    REFUNDS

    Refund times range from 5 to 15 business days from the moment the return is received and accepted at the warehouse. Refund times may vary depending on the payment method used. Upon arrival of the goods at our warehouse, we will check the condition and quality of the products, and if they meet the return conditions, we will proceed with the refund. The refund for products provided in live/webinar mode and offline events, as they are considered recreational in nature, is regulated by art. 59 of the consumer code, subject to any particular sales conditions established in the commercial proposal. In case of cancellation/postponement, acceptance of services and/or products offered as an alternative and/or addition to the purchased service will automatically invalidate the right to a refund.You will receive the refund on the same payment method you used to place your order.For orders placed to a country outside the European Union, all import taxes, customs duties, and related local taxes are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable. Similarly, all customs import or local taxes of non-EU countries necessary for making the return are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.
    Shipping costs are non-refundable.
    SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will only refund shipping costs in case of error or damaged product sent by us.
    ATTENTION: in the case of physical products included in the purchase of digital products (e.g., SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD BOX with the purchase of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD PRO or PERFORMANCE SCHOOL), the refund is possible only if the product is returned at the user’s expense and after verification that there is no damage; otherwise, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of the physical products from the refund.
    The right to return lapses if the user has viewed 30% of the product, derogating from what is provided for in the consumer code, which in the case of digital products and events allows the return only if the user has never accessed it.


    EFFECTS OF EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

    After exercising the right of withdrawal, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will refund all payments received in relation to the product for which you exercised the right of withdrawal (including any shipping costs).
    SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will make the refund on the same payment method you used to place the order unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any costs as a result of such a refund. SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will have the right to withhold the refund until it receives the product or until you have provided proof of having returned it to the same SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD.


    EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

    PURCHASE GROUPS

    SANCTIONS IN CASE OF VIOLATION

    In case of violation of the general terms and conditions of sale indicated in this document, resulting directly from an action committed by a buyer’s account, computer and economic sanctions will be applied.
    For the purposes of this document, violations of the general terms and conditions of sale committed by a specific account are presumed to be the full responsibility of the account owner unless the account owner can demonstrate in writing that the violation was not committed by the account owner.
    For the purposes of this document, to demonstrate that the illicit conduct was not committed by the account owner, the user must produce written documents proving the report of illicit acts to public authorities (report to the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office; report to Postal Police; etc.).
    For each violation of the general terms and conditions of sale committed by a user or buyer, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD may suspend the account from which the violation originated by applying a “ban” (i.e., restrictive measures that prevent access) and preventing the use of the purchased content.

    It is understood that the “ban” referred to in the previous paragraph may become definitive if there is no response from the account owner and/or if the explanations provided by the account owner are deemed incorrect or assert unproven circumstances.
    After applying the “ban,” SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will communicate the violation to the account owner via email, giving them 7 days to demonstrate any estrangement from the facts that led to the violation.
    In case of suspicious behavior by an account or an individual account holder, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will place the account and the individual associated with the account on a list of “clients suspected of violation” with the specific purpose of monitoring future behaviors. The permanence of the account or the individual account holder on the list of “clients suspected of violation” will last at the sole discretion of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD. For the purposes of this document, the term “suspicious behavior” means all behaviors that have been adopted without good faith and average diligence under Article 1176 of the Civil Code.


    COPYRIGHT IN CASE OF EVENTS

    The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Event and all related material (including any audio/video recordings as well as any educational and/or informational material that will be distributed) are the exclusive property of SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD and are therefore reserved and protected. The Participant also undertakes to: a) Use materials and equipment made available by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD with the utmost care and diligence; b) Adhere to the safety and conduct rules provided by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD or any guests; c) Not make video and/or audio recordings during the Event with any technical support.
    If the Participant commits even one of the above violations, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD will have the right to withdraw and/or destroy the copies, recordings, photographs, and illicit recordings, as well as to remove and/or no longer admit the Participant responsible for the mentioned violations to the event, without prejudice to the right to take legal action, including for damages, against the mentioned responsible party.
    The Participant releases SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD from civil and criminal liability resulting from the improper use of materials and equipment made available by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD or another supplier during the event.


    EVENT REGISTRATION, CONSENT TO THE USE OF ONE’S IMAGE, CLASSROOM EXERCISES

    The Participant declares to have been informed and is therefore aware and agrees that the Event: a) Will be recorded on video; b) Involves the active participation of participants, some of whom will be called to interact with the teachers and/or speakers.
    By signing these conditions, the Participant: a) Consents to the video recording of the Event and the use by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD, even for promotional purposes, of their personal image and/or voice and/or interviews conducted during and/or in conjunction with the Event, all through reproduction with any type of support, including edits, cuts, and/or modifications with the addition or not of audio/video supports;
    b) Affirms to be aware that the Breathing, Meditation, and Coaching sessions held during the Event have a training and strategic nature and are practical exercises that do not have therapeutic purposes and do not intend to or can replace specific treatments (medical, psychiatric, specialized); committing, however, to inform the coach and/or speaker of any ongoing medical and/or psychological treatments, as well as the possible use of medications, psychotropic drugs, or drugs that may in any way influence the planned practical sessions.
    The Participant releases SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD from civil and criminal liability resulting from the improper use of materials and equipment made available by SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD or another supplier during the event.
    The Participant declares to be in good health and is aware that any physical activities that will take place during the event are optional and not mandatory, with the consequence that such activities can be performed in total autonomy and without any imposition by the organizer.
    The Participant releases SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD from civil and criminal liability for any problems or physical damage or possible pathologies that may be a direct or indirect consequence of the physical activity performed during the event.


    EVENT EXECUTION/CANCELLATION

    For logistical and organizational reasons, SELF AWARENESS INSTITUTE LTD can autonomously and unquestioningly change the order of presentation of speakers, the presence or absence of speakers, and the topics discussed during the event. Any change to the educational plan, the order of presentation of speakers, and the presence or absence of speakers can be made without prior communication, with the consequence that the Participant cannot initiate civil actions or request a refund or compensation for damage against the organizer for:
    The change in the order of presentation of speakers;
    The presence or absence of speakers;
    The topics discussed during the event.
    In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, public safety issues, local electricity network failures or malfunctions not attributable to the organizer), the Organizer may interrupt the event, notifying the Participant.
    The interruption of the event due to force majeure will oblige the organizer to refund a portion of the ticket price, which will be quantified proportionally, considering the hours of the event already carried out.
    In any case, the participant can only and exclusively obtain a partial refund of the ticket, excluding any sums for compensation for the damage suffered.
    The Participant declares to be aware that the possible interruption of the event due to force majeure will give the right to a partial refund of the paid price without recognizing any sums for compensation for the damage suffered.


    APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

    These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed and must be interpreted according to the laws of the State of Malta.
    The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is excluded.
    In case of disputes regarding the application of this sales contract, you, as a buyer, agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese Court of Milan.
    If you are a consumer and have your habitual residence in the European Union, you may benefit from additional protections provided by the mandatory provisions of your country of residence (text already present).
